Editorial Policy & Medical Review Process
How Omega Chemist researches, writes, and reviews the medical and product information published across this site.
Who Writes and Reviews This Content
Content on this site is produced and maintained by the Omega Chemist Editorial & Pharmacy Review Team, an internal team responsible for drafting product information, blog articles, and dosing summaries, and for checking that content against current OTC drug facts labeling and the government and professional references listed on our Medical Resources page. We intentionally do not attribute individual articles to named outside physicians or pharmacists we cannot verify — we would rather be transparent about using an editorial team than imply an unverifiable personal credential.
Our Sourcing Standards
- Dosing ranges, warnings, and drug-class information are checked against the FDA OTC drug facts monograph and manufacturer labeling for each product before publication.
- Where we reference external research or guidance, we link directly to the primary source (FDA, NIH, MedlinePlus, CDC, WHO, NABP, ASHP) rather than paraphrasing secondhand summaries.
- We do not make treatment claims, diagnose conditions, or suggest a dose different from the product label.
Review Cadence
Product pages and evergreen medical-reference articles are reviewed on an ongoing basis and whenever underlying product labeling changes. Each article displays the date it was last reviewed for accuracy near the end of the page.
